Buyer Mission and Trade Mission Support is a promotional and organizational support provided to enable Turkish firms to meet directly with potential customers abroad and establish new business connections.

Buyer Mission

Potential buyers from abroad are invited to Turkey. Here, they are enabled to hold B2B meetings with Turkish firms and visit factories and facilities.

Trade Mission

Turkish firms from a specific sector go abroad as a delegation to target markets. There, they conduct B2B meetings and market analyses with potential buyers.

Who Can Benefit and Which Expenses Are Covered?

Who Can Benefit? (Organization and Participation)

This support is primarily aimed at the Cooperating Organizations that arrange the event. Exporting firms benefit indirectly by participating in these organizations.

  • Exporters' Associations

  • Chambers of Commerce and Industry

  • Sectoral associations and unions

  • Other cooperating organizations approved by the Ministry

Which Expenses are Covered?

The program supports almost all expenses of a mission organization:

  • Airfare and accommodation (for guests of the buyer mission)

  • Meeting room, simultaneous translation, interpreter, and guide services

  • Transfers, promotion, invitation printing, and catalog production

  • Consultancy expenses received for the mission organization

  • Visual and digital promotional materials

  • Digital infrastructure and moderator services for online missions

2025 Support Rates and Limits

  • Support Rate: 50% – 70% of expenditures

  • Upper Support Limit per Mission: Up to 3,000,000 TRY

  • Online Missions: The support rate is a fixed 50%

  • Participant's Share: The organizing institution may request a certain contribution fee from the participating firms.

Application Process and Strategic Notes

Application Steps

  1. 1. Obtaining Pre-Approval

    Mission organizations are subject to mandatory pre-approval. The organizing institution must apply to the Ministry for approval a reasonable time before the event.


  2. 2. Carrying out the Organization

    The mission organization (B2B meetings, facility visits, etc.) is carried out in accordance with the approved program flow and participant list.


  3. 3. Application via DYS

    Applications are made by the organizing institution through the DYS (Support Management System) within 3 months at the latest after the expenditure.


  4. 4. Uploading Necessary Documents

    Supporting documents such as the program flow, participant list, invitation texts, expenditure invoices, payment receipts, and media materials are attached to the application.


Special Notes

  • Buyer Mission: The invited foreign firms are expected to be reputable firms with a potential trade history with Turkey or purchasing power in the target market.

  • Trade Mission: Organizations aimed at specific target countries and strategic sectors increase the chances of the application being approved.

  • Requirement: It is an absolute requirement to obtain pre-approval from the Ministry of Trade before each mission organization.
