🎪 Overseas Fair Support (2025): A Guide to Expanding into Global Markets

The Overseas Fair Support is an incentive program that partially covers the expenses for the participation of exporting firms in international fairs. The aim is to facilitate meetings between Turkish companies and overseas buyers, enabling them to establish new market connections. This support helps firms gain visibility in the global market by reducing the high cost burden of fair participation.

Exporting capital companies (joint-stock, limited, etc.) established in Turkey according to the Turkish Commercial Code can benefit from this support. Manufacturing or trading companies that are currently exporting or preparing to export are eligible to apply, provided they are registered as participants in the relevant fair. Sole proprietorships cannot be direct beneficiaries; applications must be made through the company's legal entity.

Which Expenses are Covered?

  • Stand space rent and stand construction/decoration expenses

  • Shipping and customs costs of fair products

  • Printing of promotional materials such as catalogs and brochures

  • Transportation (economy class flight) and accommodation expenses for two company representatives

2025 Support Rates and Limits

Base Support Rate: 50% of expenditures are supported.
This rate can be increased up to 75% with Target Country (+20%) or Priority Sector (+5%) advantages.

Application Process and Special Notes

Application Conditions and Process

  1. The firm must participate in the relevant fair as an exhibitor, and all expenses must be invoiced in its own name.

  2. Applications must be made via DYS (Support Management System) within 3 months at the latest following the end of the fair.

  3. Necessary documents (stand contract, payment receipts, participant badges, invoices, etc.) must be uploaded to the system.

  4. All payments must have been made through bank accounts based in Turkey.

  5. Applications are reviewed by the secretariat of the relevant Exporters' Association, and the approved amount is paid to the firm's account in TRY.

Special Notes and Example Application

  • Participation in fairs can be either through national participation (group participation under the coordination of the Ministry) or individual participation. In national participation, the organizing company provides support on matters like logistics.

  • The Ministry publishes a list of fairs that it includes in the scope of support each year.

  • Example: A Turkish firm participating in a prestigious fair in Germany (a target country) in 2025 can receive a non-refundable grant support of up to 70% of its stand and other eligible expenses, up to approximately 2,860,000 TRY.
